Blood Drives - Many of you have expressed interest in setting up blood drives in honor of Oliver and in fact, a blood drive is set up for Monday, September 28, 2009 by Harper & Pearson Company in honor of Oliver in Houston, TX (please see flyer at bottom of page if you would more information on this drive).

Bone Marrow Donation - There are many misconceptions surrounding bone marrow donation. It is often a painless procedure with minimal risks and saves thousands of lives each year. To learn more about bone marro donation please visit www.marrow.org
Donation -Accepting help has been one of the hardest aspects of this whole experience for Larry and I - some of you have offered to assist us financially with medical costs, and we certainly feel strange about accepting this. We thought the best way to handle this would be to set up a special donation account at Wachovia (now Wells Fargo). Any donations received will only be used to cover Oliver's medical expenses (deductibles, co-pays, prescription drugs, etc.) and at the end of treatment, if any funds are left over, they will be donated to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. If you would like to make a donation to help cover Oliver's medical expenses, you can go to any Wells Fargo branch and deposit to Oliver's donation account. The information is as follows:
